To Enter

You may enter this competition in any one of three ways: 

(i)           by placing a completed entry form in the entry boxes, located at Stand P1, occupied by Auto Pty Ltd, at the 2007 Australian international Motor Show at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour from October 11^th to October 20^th, 2007 or;

(ii)         print out the entry form and submit it by mail to: Auto ‘Accelerate Your Career’ Training Competition, PO Box 4021, Milperra DC, NSW, 1891 to arrive by last mail, 31 October, 2007 or;

      (iii)    submitted online using the entry form on the next page (click at bottom of page)

Entry is open to Australian residents over 18 years of age and only one entry per person is permitted.

Terms and Conditions of Entry

METHOD OF ENTRY

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.

2. Entry is free and is only open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over. Employees and contractors of Auto Pty Ltd, and their immediate families are ineligible.

3. Entry is via the official entry forms, which will be distributed at the Australian International Motor Show, and are available online at: www.autoconsultants.com.au

4. The completed entry forms may be submitted in any of three ways:

(i)           by placing a completed entry form in the entry boxes, located at Stand P1, occupied by Auto Pty Ltd, at the 2007 Australian International Motor Show at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour from October 11^th to October 20^th, 2007 or;

(ii)         submitted by mail to: Auto ‘Accelerate Your Career’ Training Competition, PO Box 4021, Milperra DC, NSW, 1891 or;

      (iii)    submitted online at www.autoconsultants.com.au

5. All complete and valid entries submitted during the specified Promotional Period will be entered into all subsequent prize draws in the relevant category within the competition period for a chance to win the nominated prizes.

6. Only one entry per person is permitted.

DURATION OF COMPETITION

7. This competition commences on October 11, 2007 and closes at 5.00 pm on 30 April, 2008. 

PRIZES

8. There are two categories of entry:

Category A:  for entrants not employed in Motor Industry Sales at the time of entry

Category B:  for entrants currently employed in Motor Industry Sales at the time of entry

 with separate prizes for each category.

9. Category A: For entrants not employed in Motor industry Sales at the time of entry, the prizes consist of three separate ‘Accelerate Your Career’ training courses provided by Auto Pty Ltd in Sydney, each to be drawn individually at three month intervals.  The value of each prize is $2,750 (including GST) at the time of the commencement of the competition.  The prize will be awarded in the form of a printed voucher, valid for 12 months from the date of issue, redeemable at any Auto ‘Accelerate Your Career training course.  The courses are conducted in Sydney at least four times per year.

10. Category B: For entrants employed in Motor Industry Sales at the time of entry, the prizes shall consist of three separate 12-month memberships to AutoMembership.com, a subscription website for the motor industry.  The value of each of these prizes is $550 (including GST) at the time of the commencement of the competition. 

11. The total prize pool is valued at $9,900.

The dates of the prize draws are as follows:

Draw 1: November 1st, 2007

Draw 2: February 1st, 2008

Draw 3: May 1st, 2008

Each prize draw will select at random one winning entry from Category A and one winning entry from Category B. Valid non-winning entries are automatically included in any subsequent draws during this promotion.

12. The winning entry in each category will be the first complete, valid entry drawn in that category.

13. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

14. No responsibility or liability is accepted for any variation in the market value of the prizes.

The Category A prize includes the training and meals and refreshments on the two training days.  It does not include transport to and from the Sydney training venue, nor accommodation nor any other related or ancillary costs.  Costs of getting to the training venue and related costs are the responsibility of the winners.

WINNER NOTIFICATION

15. All prize draws will take place at the Revesby Workers’ Club, 2B Brett St, Revesby,  NSW 2212.  All winners will be notified by phone, email, and/or mail at the end of each period of the competition. All winners of prizes will be posted on www.autoconsultants.com.au following each competition.

2nd CHANCE DRAW

16. Where any prize remains unclaimed three months after its draw, Auto Pty Ltd will conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as are necessary in order to distribute any of those prizes). In the event of any winners in the unclaimed prize draw, their names will be published at www.autoconsultants.com.au within 30 days of the redraw of the relevant prize.

FINAL CONDITIONS

17. Auto Pty Ltd reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. Auto Pty Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.

18. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

19. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost, incorrectly addressed or misdirected entries. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into Auto Pty Ltd database, and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.

20. Any entries submitted outside the promotion time & date parameters outlined above, or after the promotion period has closed, will not be included in the promotion.

21. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Auto Pty Ltd which corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, Auto Pty Ltd reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to the approval of the NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing.

22. All entries become the property of Auto Pty Ltd. The information entrants provide will be used by Auto Pty Ltd for the purpose of conducting this promotion. Auto Pty Ltd may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants and to the NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing and winners’ names may be published as required under the relevant legislation. Auto Pty Ltd will use your information to contact you occasionally about Auto Pty Ltd training courses and related services. If you do not want to be contacted then you should not enter this competition. Auto Pty Ltd is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. Entrants can request access to the personal information Auto Pty Ltd holds about them by contacting Auto Pty Ltd on (02) 9771 9133.
